What to expect & FAQ's
My process
Whether you have landed on my page on purpose or by chance, I am so excited to have you here! One of my most asked questions (as it should be) is the process in how you will receive your documented memories. Here is a preview into my process:
INQUIRE: Send me a quick email letting me know your vision for your session. We will connect and discuss dates, locations, vibes, clothing, and all that fun stuff to make your day perfect.
SESSION: We will meet at your session date and have so much fun! Don't stress one bit, my friend. It is my job to direct interactions so I can capture the moments you want documented. I recommend arriving a few minutes early to get kiddos dressed.
PROOFS: Within a week after your session, you will receive a proof gallery of gently edited, watermarked photos. This gallery includes all the keepers from your session which will not be able to be downloaded. It is then your job to choose your favorite photos that you would like to include in your final gallery.
YOUR PHOTOS: After you choose your favorites, I get to work! Within 3-4 weeks, you will receive your final, hand edited gallery. This gallery will be completely downloadable. Your photos will be high resolution and include a print release so you are able to print them as you desire.

we all have a story.. here's mine.
I am five years into my photography career and have fallen in love with capturing beginnings. I have taken countless photography courses from world renowned photographers all over the globe. I have learned face to face from the amazing Amy McDaniel with Dewdrops Photography about newborn photography, safely posing newborns, and countless other tools to create beautiful newborn portraits. My newborn studio is located in Meadow Vista, Ca.
Every session is so unique to me. Every touch, every smile, every relationship is each it's own. Through my lens, I tell each story so that my clients cannot only see images, but feel their connection. It is my mission to not only capture smiles and laughter, but intimacy and love. I want you to look back at these and remember how your 2 year old's hair felt on your cheek when you snuggled her. I want you to feel the memory, not just view the photo. Every family has a story.

Where to begin, Katie is a true natural when it comes to photography! She has an eye for the perfect shots and makes it seem effortless. I have done several sessions with her over the last six years from engagement, family, maternity and newborn pictures, and time and time again she amazes me. She will literally guide you from start to finish (if you’re like me and are unsure about everything from outfit choices to posing.) Overall, my most favorite thing about her though, is just how sweet and personable she is. I left my last session (maternity) beaming and feeling like the most beautiful woman! I am so glad to have found her and no doubt my family will continue to use her in the future as well as recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing photographer.
